Made from high quality materials, this rig has been designed for optimal use in the surf. We suggest getting multiple colors for various water conditions, which is why we offer several color options.
Here is what our pompano rigs are constructed of and why:
Heavy-duty crane swivel for attaching your weight
Barrel swivel to attach to your mainline to prevent getting your line twisted
20 lb flourocarbon to keep the fish from detecting the line
1/0 sticky circle hooks, purposely smaller to prevent fish from escaping as easily
Pill float on the top hook for a more streamlined profile in turbulent waters
two beads on top of the bottom hook to click together and attract the fish
